Our good friends over at SOYU asked us to help with some filming for the release of the new brand, we jumped at it!!.. Parcelled up a crew on a cold Saturday morning and filmed some behind the scenes for their new collection. Dance Corner - iPhone/Browser Game

Liverpool Museum - Beatles Experience
Sparkle* was approached by Hurricane films/National Museums Liverpool in early 2010 to discuss this mam- moth project of compiling “the Beatles in Liverpool” story for the new Liverpool Museum, an exhibition with a ten year life span. Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and the Lennon and Harrison estates have given it the go ahead to use our content to decribe the Beatles story.
Sparkle* was commissioned to produced all 2D and 3D animated content for the exhibition as well as re-create missing footage using photographs. The technique of 3D project was used to take photographs and bring hem to life as never seen before.
The final moving images are displayed in 360 degree screen wrapped around a pod in the heart of the new museum.

Digital Fiction Factory
Along side Liverpool based Flash Developers "Flamin Deluxe" Sparkle where commissioned by Lime Pictures to produce the look and feel of a demo video for the Digital Fiction Factory's release of "Dizzy High", a PC platform game taken from the book of the same name by Frank Cotteral Boyce.
All of the images here where early prototypes of the game which has gone on to develop further in a 2.5D platform game.
The final promo piece is expected to be released in Mid 2012

Liverpool Museum - Across the Park

Ilsa Parry - Product Visualisation
BBC's Design for Life Winner Ilsa Parry commissioned Sparkle* to visualise her "Can Cook" kiosks.
With an exceptionally short turnaround time, Ilsa asked us to describe her wonder new design and bring it to life for her client to take to market. It was a wonderful opertunity to work with Ilsa we look forward to future project together.
Several Banners where produced in just over 7 days and accompanied by a 2 minute CG video.

Sinusoothe - TV Commercial
American based Sinusoothe approached to give their No.1 brand a lighter, more accessable feel. Some thign that would appeal to a younger audience. After much discission we built several fun worlds where everyday situations would take place. After the TV commercial aired in the America the Sinusoothe website received over 100,000 hits, with over 30,000 views on their YouTube Channel.

Oakley - Tracking Replacement
Award winning Liverpool & London based Tokyo Digital approached us to help with tracking and replacement on their interactive sports game for Oakley. Sparkle* completed 9 tracking shots on the project, once each shot was tracked then rotoscoped the data was passed back down the pipeline to Tokyo to implement into their flash game. Tokyo integrated the sports game with the users Facebook profiles, once in the game the users details and images where placed upon our supplied tracking data and rotoscoping, personalising the game for the user. The user then faces varying challenges with several different outcomes.

Feel Fit - Reebok TV/Viral Commercial
Reebok Europe asked Sparkle* to pitch ideas for a new online fitness programme they where looking to launch. Once the pitch was complete Sparkle* where commis- sioned to produce to produce all the viral content and all training content for the programme.
This involved producing 3 viral adverts (TV adverts for southern hemisphere) and all the traing content, 375 short training clips. Footage for the viral was shot in the South of England and Sydney Australia. Sparkle* produced and managed the 18 strong crew which it provided form the UK, spending 3 weeks in Sydney filming the remaining content.
The final viral product was a collection of every day people in an environment where they were exercising doing every days task. We visually demonstrated all the excersises using tracked 3D and graphical elements to their bodies.

Aintree - Liverpool Day
Liverpool based Agency Bampton Smith approached Sparkle* to produce a small corporate promo for Aintree's Liverpool Day. With Access all areas passes we sent down a crew for a few days to capture all the action.
Final result was a 2 minute corporate promo video

Leashed - Editing : Compositing : CGI : Animation
Leashed is a short film funded by and produced by Vision & Media. Sparkle* where asked to direct all the visual effects as well as deal with all post production. Filmed on location on the side of Mount Snowdon in Wales, Leashed was captured on the Red One at 4.5k. The entire edit was handled in house in the Sparkle Liverpool office, including all VFX. Visual Effects on the film varied from clean up shots to producing a headless corpse hanging from the wall to the final werwolf scene. One of the more challenging shots came at the end of the film were a dimly lit rooms glimpses a look at the Werewolf. In post it was very difficult to gather a track from the room, so instead we decided to build the geometry of the room and 3D camera project the room back in giving us full control over the final shot. We also designed the and animated a full CGI Werewolf for the film, unfortunatily the wolf doesn't make the final cut as a more intense atmosphere is created by suggesting the wolf is present.
The film is about to do the festival circuit for 2012, once done we should be able to show a few clips here

CBBC - Documentary
Sparkle* approached to produce a short documentary on the positive impact tv shows such as the Sarah Jayne Adventures have on children. Filmed on location work- ing with the cast the final piece was shown to a select board at the BBC.

United Utilities - Water Systems
United Utilities approached to produce a 3 minute animation t explain there minute by minute procedure for handling low pressure and no service of a 24 hour period.
Working closely to their style guide we produced the animation to run across all web platforms, HD broadcast TV and iphone/ipads
